Jack Galloway, CPCU, CIC
Jack Galloway is the Director of the Commercial Division for Marsh & McLennan Agency’s (MMA) West region. He is responsible for the division’s growth and performance in the San Diego, Orange County, Bay Area, and Los Angeles offices. Jack joined the San Diego office in 1984 and became a principal of the firm in 1989. In 2005, Jack was named the Commercial Division director.
Jack began his insurance career in 1981 as a Marketing Representative with the Hartford Insurance Group. Jack is an active member of the insurance community, serving as past Director on the Western Insurance Agents Association (WIAA) Board, a delegate to the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers, and current Director of the Board for Agents Resource Inc. (ARI). He was named 2017 Insurance Agent of the Year by the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of San Diego. Jack is also a member of Hartford’s Jonathan Trumbull Council for Southern California, Zurich’s National Middle Market Advisory Council, and Liberty Mutual’s National Commercial Market’s Producer Council.
Jack is also active in the community at large, serving as past President of the Boys & Girls Club of Oceanside and the current Director of the Board for the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego.
Jack is a graduate of California State University, Hayward with a BS in business administration and marketing. In 1988, he earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. He also holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
